Dedicated to animal welfare, A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter was struggling with outdated and deteriorating dog kennels. The existing concrete structures were damaged, and the limited number of kennels could not adequately support the shelter's needs. Recognizing the urgent need for a renovation, they reached out to Cedar Rustic Fence Co. to transform their outdoor kennel space.
The Challenge
The primary challenge was to overhaul the existing kennel infrastructure, which was in a state of disrepair, to enhance the living conditions of the dogs awaiting adoption. The shelter needed more kennel space to accommodate both the general population of dogs and those requiring isolation due to illness or behavioral issues.
Solution Provided
Cedar Rustic Fence Co. meticulously planned and executed the construction of new kennel facilities at the A.D.O.P.T. Pet Shelter:
- Large Play Kennels Ten spacious kennels were constructed to provide ample room for play and interaction, essential for the dogs' physical and mental well-being.
- Isolation Kennels Seven smaller kennels were specifically designed for sick or temperamental dogs requiring isolation to prevent stress and disease transmission.
Impact
The new kennels have significantly improved the daily operations of the shelter:
